Landscape Architecture (Conversion) (MA) - Full Time - Course Map

Each module taken by a student has a credit value (measured in Credit Accumulation and Transfer [CAT] points). Approximately 10 hours of total study time is required per CAT credit. A full-time year is equivalent to 180 CATs for students on a Postgraduate course. To achieve a postgraduate award a student must accumulate a particular number of CATs at Level 7 as illustrated below: Masters Degree: 180 CATs

All modules in the conversion year are borrowed from the Landscape Architecture Single Honours undergraduate degree map and are compulsory for Conversion year students. You must pass the Conversion year modules and meet the minimum marks specified in the course handbook to progress to the Diploma Year.

AD4601: Professional Practice: Digital Communication 1
Restrictions: Available only to student taking the degree in Landscape Architecture

AD4605: Design Projects 1
Restrictions: Available only to student taking the degree in Landscape Architecture and students taking the post graduate conversion course in landscape architecture.

LAA201: Urban Landscape Design 15
LAA202: Landscape Planning 15
LAA203: Sustainable Technology 2 30
LC451: Landscape Professional Practice
Restrictions:

Available only to student taking the MA/PGDiploma in Landscape Architecture. Cannot be taken with LC401.

To complete your programme you must pass a minimum of 45 credits from the following:
LC452: Landscape Design Studio
Restrictions: Available only to student taking the MA/PGDiploma in Landscape Architecture

Cannot be taken with LC422

Restrictions: Available only to student taking the MA/PGDiploma in Landscape Architecture.  Cannot be taken with LC423.
