Brief Description This module draws on knowledge developed at level I in SPX104 and underpins further study at level III (e.g., Dissertation). The module will consider analysis of all types of data using conventional techniques regularly applied within the disciplines. Students will have the opportunity to develop data handling and analysis techniques through a hands-on approach.

Learning Outcomes

i. Knowledge and understanding
On successful completion of the module the student will be able to:
a) identify the appropriate data analysis technique in relation to the type of data;
b) appreciate the link between study design and data analysis;
c) interpret data analysis outcomes in sport and exercise research literature.
