Brief Description | This module examines the physiological demands of sporting events, limitations to performance, physiological determinants of performance and their assessment. |
Indicative Syllabus | The module content will allow the student to consider the physiological demands of various types of sporting events. For each type of event the physiological factors that either determine or limit performance are examined. Methods of assessment for these determinants of performance are also considered. The module builds on the knowledge and skills developed in SPX106, and underpins further study in modules such as SPX315, SPS313, SPS333. |
