Brief Description | An understanding of the biomechanical principles underpinning human movement is a basic requirement for the coach / teacher, performer, therapist and sport and exercise scientist. This module will develop biomechanical laboratory skills and an understanding of biomechanical concepts relating to human movement. |
Indicative Syllabus | The indicative content of the module will include: muscle mechanics; electromyography; isokinetic dynamometry; 2-dimensional kinematic analysis; projectile motion; kinematic analysis using a force platform and transfer of momentum. |
