Learning Outcomes | A student passing this module should be able to demonstrate: 1. A critical understanding of contemporary approaches to leadership, management and teamwork in policing and investigative contexts; 2. A critical awareness of key concepts, policies and issues affecting the effectiveness and efficiency of policing generally, and investigative leadership and management in particular; 3. A critical understanding of the role of the media in shaping public perceptions of crime and policing performance; 4. Their individual qualities, strengths and potential as members ofa team 5. Higher order skills of reflection, judgement and problem solving; 6. Advanced skills of communication and presentation. |
