Brief Description | This module is in two blocks and provides a broad introduction to our system of criminal justice and how it works. First students will explore the courts and the adversarial system of justice, placing into context the official response to crime. Then in the second block they use the knowledge they have of the system of justice from block one, and focus on evidence and crime scenes, allowing them to see the processes which occur before a trial begins and how actions at this stage impact on whether convictions can be achieved in court. This module is a comprehensive examination of the way we officially respond to crime. |
