Brief Description | This module aims to provide an introduction to the fundamental methods of data handling and the role of computers in sampling, tabulation, graph production, and creation of descriptive statistics. |

Learning Outcomes | A student passing this module should be able to: 1. Elect and execute appropriate sampling strategies and measurements 2. Comprehend the rationale for different methods of data presentation, including quantitative and qualitative approaches 3. Understand and utilise descriptive statistics 4. Recognise the importance of different types of data 5. Devise suitable data collection strategies for subject-specific problems 6. Use standard software packages to correctly present data |
