Brief Description | This course builds on the previous two years of production to really challenge the way multi-platform videos are currently produced. |
Indicative Syllabus | Build on the work covered in year two with an emphasis on professionalism, time-management and working with clients, as well as progressing production skills in order to make completed, good quality short programmes. The culmination of this module will be a 'live brief' in which students will create a short film / advertorial / introductory film / corporate video for the website of a local company / business / artist / professional individual. |
Learning Outcomes | A student passing this module should be able to: 1. Produce a number of high-quality programmes in response to a real-world brief, incorporating contemporary social-media features. 2. Exhibit professionalism and initiative in finding and working with external businesses 3. Continually challenge themselves technically by ensuring ideas are always ambitious and also appropriate 4. Produce detailed and informative support materials, and use contemporary theory and social-media concepts to plan and reflect on the success of productions. |
