Indicative Syllabus

This module will be delivered in seminars and workshops, with students undertaking weekly, practical writing exercises in the classroom before being sent out to find and write up their own stories.  They will learn how to communicate succinctly and accurately, exploring the differences in the use of the written and spoken word for a wide range of journalistic markets.   Students will also learn the importance of complementing their broadcast scripts with sound and pictures.
