Brief Description | This module will cover the systems of land law in England and Wales and provide an understanding of the basic principles of ownership of land, both freehold and leasehold together with the acquisition and protection of third party rights. |
Indicative Syllabus | Introduction to land law and concepts of ownership, enforceability of 3rd party rights and interests, trusts of land and co-ownership, leases and leasehold covenants, freehold covenants, easements, mortgages, licenses, options and adverse possession, land registration |
