Brief Description | This module provides students with the opportunity to identify and examine critically key contemporary issues that are pertinent to professional practice with children at play. It introduces students to key concepts in epistemology and argument. Students will be expected to draw on this and the knowledge and skills they have gained earlier in the course andthrough other experiential learning as they debate important issues within professional practice. |
Indicative Syllabus | The module introduces approaches to critical thinking, epistemology, argument and analysis and interpretation of research. Following on from this, students work together to identify and critique contemporary issues in professional practice. |
