Brief Description | The module will explore how meanings and forms of niche tourism products are created and transformed in post-industrial societies. It also addresses how issues derived from the production and consumption niche tourism products are addressed by tourism managers. |
Indicative Syllabus | The module seeks to investigate the creation and development of niche tourism from a socio-cultural perspective. New forms of tourism will be identified and analysed in terms of consumer behaviour and management options within a wide socio-cultural and political context. |
