Brief Description | This module explores the structure of the tour operating industry and the creation, management and development of the tour operations package, acknowledging key challenges in managing consumers and suppliers sustainably in host destinations. |
Indicative Syllabus | The module develops in the student a critical understanding of the structure of the tour operations industry and the various elements that combine to create and develop the inclusive tour package. It addresses the key administrative, consumer and host destination supplier management challenges, within the political and legal constraints of tourism management in a global context. |
