Brief Description

This module builds on LE4603 to support students to continue to reflect on their practice in the light of theories presented through the Level 4 programme.

Indicative Syllabus

Revisiting material from LE4603, approaches to praxis; reflexive and reflective practice, frameworks to support reflection, maintaining a reflective journal.

Learning Outcomes

A student passing this module should be able to:

  1. recognise and reflect on learning opportunities in practice;
  2. reflect on their own learning in the light of theories presented through the Level 4 programme;
  3. practice a range of skills associated with problem solving, action planning, observation and reflective practice which will support their professional development;
  4. develop and maintain a reflective journal.
