Brief Description Hospitality is a dynamic and changing industry which is greatly influenced by external factors, this module will allow students to analyse contemporary issues to underpin informed discussion and debate.

Learning Outcomes

i. Knowledge and Understanding
On completion of this module the student should be able to:
a) Identify and critically evaluate contemporary issues within hospitality management
b) Critically evaluate the significance of socio political processes upon the hospitality industry.
c) Understand and analyse the multi-disciplinarity of hospitality.



ii. Skills
Students will be given the opportunity to develop their key skills in the following areas during the course of this module:
