Brief Description | This module enables each student to: develop and extend further an appropriate area of investigation; promote personal initiatives and self discipline in working practice; develop a body of creative work which demonstrates the ability to generate and develop personal ideas; define and focus the progression of work. |
Indicative Syllabus | Students will have the option of continuing to develop their work in their established area, or pursue an alternative mode of presentation which may complement their work at this stage. It will be necessary for each student to understand the processes involved in managing time and resources. |
Learning Outcomes | By the end of this module students should: 1. have demonstrated an ability to work independently and critically in pursuit of their stated aims as contained in the Study Agreement 2. have demonstrated their ability to engage inventively in their chosen arena of practice 3. have demonstrated an ability to work independently and critically with regard to a particular project |
Learning and Teaching Activities | 25 hours contact time: tutorials, study agreement (for students outside Fine Art, a study proposal), study visits; 175 hours personal research and practical production |
