Brief Description | This module provides the opportunity to build on previous experience and understanding to establish an individual artistic objective within a continuous personal practice. Students undertake practical and contextual research to define and evaluate core issues central to their work, with particular reference to content and process. |
Indicative Syllabus | Students are supported in defining the practical and theoretical contexts to their work and in developing strategies towards establishing a sustainable and ongoing work process. The nature of the work undertaken for this module is to be negotiated with the tutor(s) in tutorials and documented in a study agreement. The agreement should clearly identify the proposed work to be undertaken and appropriate strategies for research and experimentation. Group work will play a large part in the development of personal practice. |
