Brief Description | This module explores the relationship between psychoanalysis and writing by exploring some of the key psychoanalytic theories. Debates centred around the issues of sexuality and writing, gender and genre and the construction/representation of sexuality will provide the module focus. A selection of theoretical, fictional and filmic explorations will be studied in the context of the theories propounded by their psychoanalytic forebears. |
