Brief Description | This module critically analyses the external environment, political, historical, cultural issues and environmental impact in relation to large scale events. It allows students to reflect upon their placements and critically analyse any such factors encountered upon their placements. |
Indicative Syllabus | This module seeks to critically analyse the place of large scale events within the market place, it will include: history of large scale events; large scale events and society; the role of government in the bidding process; large scale events as a mechanism for economic and business development; external factors influencing large scale events; large scale events as a driver for change. |
