Brief Description | This module introduces forensic computing by considering the design and operation of computers and computer networks, and how computers may be programmed. |
Indicative Syllabus | Computer hardware: processors, memory and storage devices. Networking hardware: switches and local area networks; routers and wide area networks. Networking protocols and protocol stacks. Computer programming: expressions, statements, files and pattern-matching. |
