Brief Description | With the support of an academic supervisor, students engage with a real-world enterprise project, whether their own business, sharing a third-party start-up or business development project, providing counselling/consultancy support or managing an innovative project within an established organisation. The focus is on experiential learning and the broad learning aim is the application, contextualisation and critical evaluation of knowledge of entrepreneurial behaviour and process, enterprise skills, learning and enterprise support. The project is supported by a series of topic seminars and action learning sets. |
Indicative Syllabus | The Sem2 learning is largely student-directed, with the direct involvement of private or third sector collaborating organisations, visits and invitations to chosen “enablers” and guest speakers or advisors, plus interaction and advice to and from peers. |
