Brief Description This module is designed to enable students to demonstrate their ability and competence, and explicitly apply the learning undertaken through APH402 Health Assessment and Diagnosis. Through the development of an analytical and reflective approach, students will be able to evidence and critically appraise the links they have made between their ability to undertake health assessments and make a diagnosis, and the underpinning theory, and in doing so demonstrate their ability to be a reflective and competent practitioner, at an advanced level of practice.
Indicative Syllabus a) The relationship between, and reflective integration of, theory and practice in the development of work-based processes and systems.
b) The process of demonstrating competency within clinical settings.
c) Portfolio construction and their use in demonstrating the application of workplace learning and demonstration of competency.
Learning Outcomes On successful completion of the module the student will be able to:-
