Brief Description | Students focus their practice and develop their studio work with a high level of independence. They deepen their understanding of their practice and its contextualisation, and develop appropriate skills, visual languages and methods of working to bring this work to resolution in a final exhibition. The work developed demonstrates evidence of sustained working practices and demonstrates a synthesis of knowledge, experience, invention and skills as a product of intention and outcome. |
Indicative Syllabus | - Students build on the individual framework established in AD6201, and focus on the realisation of a coherent and developed body of work, which should be seen as the resolution of issues identified and tested through previous modules. They develop their work through sustained individual studio practice, and research, supported through the study agreement, tutorials, seminars and study visits. There is a strong emphasis on both practical and conceptual issues that inform the final realisation of this work. A resolved body of work is produced in the form of a final exhibition which demonstrates a synthesis of knowledge, experience, invention and skills. |
