Brief Description

The Creative Portfolio module requires students to assemble a collection of their best work. This substantial double module runs throughout the year and involves conceiving, planning and editing the 'book', in preparation of a successful career in the advertising industry. During the module, students will be expected to develop contacts with a number of agencies and industry professionals, to gain advise on the development of their work.

Indicative Syllabus

Students work in teams as art directors and copywriters to assemble a finished portfolio of advertising. Each team will be encouraged to make contact with 'creatives' from the top agencies in London and elsewhere, to gain industry advise on their work. Projects will include a mix of self-initiated assignments and 'live' briefs set by industry professionals. Tutorials will be negotiated by students and module staff to support the successful completion of original work.
