Brief Description

This module will enable students to continue to identify, test and develop ideas using drawing as a means of enquiry, recording, observation and expression conveyed through subjective experience.  Students will record, translate and develop ideas through drawing and the application of drawing.

It will provide students with the opportunity to agree a plan of practical work with tutors to assist in helping them develop their individual artistic practice.  The student may wish to explore a theme or concept initiated in a previous module or advance experience of working with particular materials or technologies. It should enable students to focus on an area of personal interest and the experience and outcomes may assist and inform decision-making for future progression and personal development at level 6.

Students will develop and perfect visual processes of research and investigation,

continuing the progressive development of personally informed work based on closely observed reportage followed by experimental subjective responses.

Students will identify a personal direction for their work, developing an understanding and awareness of their individual motivations in developing imagery via this process.
