Brief Description | The module aims to provide students with an understanding of how businesses develop and implement strategy, considering both external factors and internal ambitions which may impact on strategic development. |
Indicative Syllabus | The module will offer students the opportunity to evaluate a business’s purpose in terms of its mission statement, objectives and critical success factors. Positional analysis will be used to evaluate governance, risk management and financial implications of alternative strategic choices for a business, and external and internal factors which could affect chosen strategies will be considered. |
